North-South Split Divan Bases Explained

North-South split divan bases are brilliant for spare and guest rooms, holiday cottages and ski chalets, when you don’t know from week to week what the room configuration needs to be.

Our customers choose a North-South split divan base with a zip and link mattress when they want the flexibility to split the bed into two.

 A North-South divan bed typically pairs with a King or Super King mattress, depending on your overall required dimensions. In addition to this we can make bespoke mattresses and divan bases to your exact size, down to the centimetre.

Please note, that we can only make headboards as per the sizes shown on our website. Our Burdock headboard, available in four heights, is most commonly used in conjunction with a North-South split divan (as pictured).

It is possible to add plastic clips free of charge to the inside of the divan bases, so they can be secured together.

Choose from any combination of drawers you require (max x4 drawers). Our smaller continental drawers are designed to make space for a side table.
